At Fibrotech FRP, quality isnβt a checklist β itβs a culture.
Our QC process is engineered into every stage of design, sourcing, production, and delivery β ensuring that every FRP product that leaves our facility is dimensionally precise, mechanically robust, safety compliant, and ready to perform.
From raw resin to final product, we inspect, test, validate, and document β rigorously.
Our 5-Stage Quality Control Framework
1οΈβ£ Raw Material Testing & Approval
- All resins, fiberglass, and fillers are batch-tested before use
- Verified for:
- Resin reactivity & viscosity
- Glass content (%)
- UV stabilizer & fire-retardant compound levels
- Sourced only from ISO-certified vendors
β Only approved lots enter the production floor.
In-Process Quality Monitoring
- Each production batch is monitored by QC inspectors for:
- Cure rate / exothermic reaction stability
- Fiber-resin ratio & uniform wet-out
- Mould temperature & pressure control
- For pultrusion lines, we monitor:
- Die alignment
- Pull speed control
- Dimensional stability at exit
Any deviation from set parameters triggers batch flagging and halt.
In-Process Quality Monitoring
- Each production batch is monitored by QC inspectors for:
- Cure rate / exothermic reaction stability
- Fiber-resin ratio & uniform wet-out
- Mould temperature & pressure control
- For pultrusion lines, we monitor:
- Die alignment
- Pull speed control
- Dimensional stability at exit

Mechanical & Performance Testing
- Conducted in-house and by 3rd party NABL-accredited labs on rotating schedule:
- Tensile strength β ASTM D638
- Flexural strength β ASTM D790
- Compressive strength β ASTM D695
- Water absorption β ASTM D570
- Glass content β ASTM D2584
- Load-bearing test β IS 1726 for manhole covers
- Fire retardance β ASTM E84 Class 1 (when applicable)
βοΈ Each product type has a pre-defined QC protocol based on application class.
inal Visual & Functional Inspection
- Gratings, poles, covers, profiles undergo:
- Edge finishing check
- Surface smoothness test
- Color matching and RAL verification
- Embossing/logo verification
- Bolt/fitting compatibility check (where applicable)
πΈ Only fully passed items are packed and tagged with batch traceability.
